2.1 System overview

2.1.1 Overall plan

2.1.2 System Composition

Mobile network: Provide a dedicated communication link between the GPS location tracker and the network

SMS gateway: The GPS location tracker can communicate with the communication center through SMS. The communication center can also automatically send information to the manager's mobile phone according to the container warning situation.

Monitoring server: Receive GPS location tracker information, analyze the data according to the communication protocol, and write it into the database. It can also receive control commands from the web client and forward them to the container terminal equipment.

Database: store all data generated by the management system.


2.1.3 System functions

(1) Temperature detection: monitor the ambient temperature and the internal temperature of the container through the temperature detection module

(2) Empty and heavy load detection: Through the empty and heavy load detection sensor, it can detect whether the inside of the box is loaded with media.

(3) Door switch detection: By installing a door switch detection sensor inside the box door, the switch state of the box door is detected.

(4) Motion detection: Through the built-in acceleration sensor, monitor whether the container is in a moving state or a static state.


2. Battery power detection and low voltage alarm

The container GPS positioning tracker can regularly detect the battery power and battery voltage. When the battery voltage is lower than the threshold, the container GPS positioning tracker will remind the device that the battery needs to be replaced.


3. GPS positioning and remote data transmission

The system can regularly upload the location information of the container to the background system through the GPS/BDS positioning system and the A-GPS system with the help of the data transmission means of the mobile network, so as to realize the location of the container.

The positioning accuracy of GPS/BDS is less than 15 meters. When the GPS of the container cannot be located, the positioning data of the base station will be uploaded, and the position will be deviated.

The regular upload frequency of mobile network data can be set remotely through the monitoring and management platform, but the regular upload frequency of mobile network directly affects the service life of the battery.
